Sasha Swerdloff

Sasha grew up in Oregon and attended Middlebury College in Vermont where she received her B.A. in English. Before joining Oregon Green Schools as Program Coordinator, Sasha ran an award winning sustainable food and wellness blog. She is excited to bring her strong organizational and event planning skills and her knowledge and experience with social media marketing and communications to OGS to help support partnership building and promote the sustainability efforts of schools across the state. More recently Sasha has been working as sustainability coordinator for the Corbett School District, developing and implementing a volunteer strategic plan to source local, sustainable food, reduce food waste, and improve access to garden based education.

Sasha sits on the board of a small family foundation that funds in the areas of climate change, habitat preservation, and family planning and is passionate about making the world a better place.
