Kersey Goodwin

After receiving a degree in Environmental Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University, Kersey moved out west to pursue a career in non-profit work. Kersey served in AmeriCorps in Billings, MT, then ventured to Bozeman, MT to further explore the Rocky Mountains. Her sense of wonder grew as she learned how to snowboard and grow a garden during just a 2 month long summer. However, with a desire for a larger community, she then relocated to Bend, OR and immediately started volunteering at the Environmental Center, where she continues to stay involved. Kersey served as the Project and Administrative Coordinator at Commute Options, a non-profit educating and encouraging the public about active transportation, transit and carpooling to help create a more livable community. As the Strategic Partnerships Director, Kersey will coordinate fundraising, partnership development and build OGS systems and structures through a racial equity lens. Kersey is passionate about connecting with people and the natural environment while bringing strong interpersonal skills to our team.
