Last month we shared news about Jesuit High School, and Willamette High School who were recognized as 2014 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools. This honor was bestowed to 48 high schools in the nation who reduces environmental impact and costs, improves the health and wellness of their school, and provides environmental education.
When the US Department of Education isn’t handing out awards, they are hard at work providing tools and resources so more schools can work toward the Pillars of the U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools recognition award.
