2012 Oregon Green Schools Summit
Place: Eugene Faith Center
Monday April 9, 2012 8:15 am – 3:00pm
Once again, Oregon Green Schools Association is hosting a Summit for certified Green, Merit and Premier schools — a day of learning, of sharing experience and stories, and celebrating our accomplishments.Attendees return to their schools energized, invigorated, full of ideas and inspired to implement what they have learned. IT’S A DAY YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS!
Registration will open February 9th and close when 335 eligible students and accompanying adults have registered.
Registration is open. Sign up here.
One adult and a team of up to 4 students (4th grade and above) from your certified Oregon Green School can attend. On March 19th, you will receive an email confirming your registration and sponsorship, including directions to the Summit.
Students will attend separate educational sessions with a wide variety of hands-on workshops. These workshops will focus on topics such as watershed management, energy conservation, recycling, waste reduction, creative reuse, sustainable agriculture, air and water quality, vermicomposting, and schoolyard gardens. The Green School Showcase, which features student presentations and is extremely popular, will also be held. Adult roundtable session provides a chance to swap ideas.

Don’t be shy – brag a little!
