The Waste Reduction Department of Waste Connections, Inc. supports the emerging sustainability movement in Clark County, WA, through waste reduction education and outreach programs including: business and food waste, construction and demolition, single and multi-family residence outreach, schools and community events. We are currently hiring a Program Coordinator for schools to join our team.

The Program Coordinator will focus on some of the large projects written above, as well as day-to-day tasks such as answering questions regarding the how-tos of recycling, giving classroom presentations in elementary schools, middle schools, and high schools. The Program Coordinator will work closely with Clark County to ensure that the food waste and recycling programs are maintained and the food waste coming from schools is clean of contamination. The Program Coordinator will also perform other work as assigned.
