Grants & Contracts Coordinator Position for Outdoor School Grant Program

The Grants and Contracts Coordinator is a key member of the University Administrative Business Center (UABC) financial team. 

At the direction of the OSU Extension Service Director (Director), this position manages the Outdoor School grant program as required under Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) ORS 327.390. The Grants and Contracts Coordinator (Coordinator) ensures appropriate receipt and accounting for state funding allocated by the Legislature to the program, issues Requests for Proposals to entities eligible to participate in the program and participates in the program evaluation, works with the Office for Sponsored Research and Award Administration (OSRAA) to execute contracts between the Director and the grant recipients. The Coordinator manages all aspects of the grant program including payments to funding recipients and other expenses associated with the grant program (such as OSU labor distributions and the payments of other expenses associated with the program). The Coordinator provides periodic reports to the Director and others regarding the financial status and outlook for the program. The Coordinator provides procurement services to funding recipients participating in the program. The hiring of this position is contingent on receipt of legislative funding. This position reports to the UABC Business Center Manager.
