A workshop for fifth- to eighth-grade teachers will explore the role of fire in the forest, as well as the interconnected nature of a forest watershed.
The Forest Wildfire & Watershed Educator Workshop will take place at the Tillamook Forest Center, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Oct. 8. Attendees will receive the curricula Project Learning Tree and Project WILD Aquatic. Both are correlated to Oregon’s benchmarks and standards.
